An international insurance company took over one of the largest insurance companies in the UK. As the company had grown through acquisition, it started a project to make direct savings by integrating and consolidating output management. Wyse were engaged by the parent company's professional advisors on outsourcing the print unit to a suitable supplier, and advise on the effect of significant TUPE transfers.
The issues they had included fragmented systems for production-class printing, desktop, workgroup and transactional printing, post rooms, and central filing. This included the consolidation of several buildings into one centralised print production facility.
